Hello!
My name is Erica da Silva Correia, I'm from the Caribbean, the island of Curacao to be more specific. I like hanging out with my friends, different forms of art, photography, reading, listening to music, watching movies and traveling. Drawing has been a big part of my everyday life for the past couple of years, but most importantly it has helped me grow as a person. I enjoy doing it because it helps me make things, such as ideas and feelings, visible (real) when I can't find words to express them. I'm often inspired by the mix of cultures here on Curacao and how everything is connected in one way or another. I've also been to other countries where I've also been inspired to do some of these pieces. An example would be the island of Madeira, where I've spent most of the summers of my childhood. I also write short stories from time to time and I hope that one day I can do something more in that area too.
